In March 2020, I left the International Marxist Tendency and cut off ties with the Trotskyist movement forever. I came to the conclusion that the organisation was a cult, that all Trotskyist groups were cults and that Trotskyism as a movement and an ideology was intellectually and morally bankrupt. This blog is meant to expose the fallacies, myths and stupidities that characterise Trotskyist ideology, investigate why Trotskyist organisations are cults and analyse the methods they use to manipulate and control their members. If you are an ex-Trotskyist or a doubting member of a Trotskyist sect, I invite you to read this blog to fully understand the nature of what you’ve just escaped, or could potentially escape. It is important that the youth of today have informed consent about the organisations they get involved with.
