Alex Grant, head of Fightback, expelled

It now appears that Alex Grant, the now disgraced ex-leader of the IMT’s Canadian section, has been removed from his position for sexual misconduct. The full story can be read here. After expending what little goodwill his miserable sect had on covering up for rapists and sex pests in the past year or so, he himself has now been hoisted by his own petard. The organisation is keeping very quiet about the whole affair, and members of the Canadian organisation have had a pre-written statement on his removal read out to them in a carefully choreographed attempt to sweep the whole affair under the rug. It is telling that something as big as this cannot be discussed openly by the membership, for fear that it will disrupt the organisation. One wonders what Grant did to turn his colleagues against him that would lead to such an extraordinary turn of events, especially when they have been happily covering up for his abuses for all these years. Certainly the rank-and-file members could never have brought about such a shift. Countless branches have been expelled for attempting precisely this. Now, Canada’s very own Gerry Healy has finally been brought to justice.

This degenerate will hopefully disappear into obscurity, but the many victims of his reign of terror must continue healing from his depraved actions. Meanwhile, the many members who defended him and his corrupt leadership must now examine their consciences.
