In one of the funniest developments of world history, U.S. forces have successfully captured the socialist dictator of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, and his wife, in an operation that lasted about three hours. Despite the best attempts of the impotent cult known as the Revolutionary Communist International, no one was able to ‘mobilise’ in the face of American power. No sooner had they started their usual bleating than Maduro was on board a plane and being flown out of the country. Seeing the panicked tweets of RCI spokesman Jorge Martin on the situation has nevertheless been very enjoyable.
To see this wretched regime crumble in the face of American power within a matter of hours, and to have its own head of state, the loudmouth tyrant Maduro, wrenched from his hole with such ruthless efficiency, is very heartening to all those lovers of freedom and haters of socialist tyranny. I never thought I’d say this, but well done Donald Trump. (Still the worst President in American history.)
